Phyllis Wheeler, veteran homeschooler and curriculum provider, started New Classics Study Guides in 2021 by recruiting some fellow authors at a Christian writers’ conference, Realm Makers. A number of talented Christian middle-grade authors soon joined, including veteran homeschooler and author Susan K. Marlow. Susan, with her boundless energy, was soon organizing the newsletter to include input from authors, while operating the website.

New Classics is, at heart, a cooperative effort of a group of authors reaching out to get to know Christian homeschooling families better. We are delighted to interact with you and your children.
